Biography
Alessandro Lunedì
Passion matters in this field, but it is not everything: it requires rigorous study, dedication, and discipline. This mindset led me to pursue a traditional academic path, laying a solid foundation for my future.
As surprising as it might sound, my early background was purely scientific. Until age 18, when I enrolled in the Conservatory, my guitar training consisted exclusively of private lessons. Rather than attending a specialized music high school, I attended a scientific high school, graduating with top honors.
Those five years were instrumental in helping me develop the rational, progressive practice method I still rely on today to evolve as a musician and guitarist. Studying subjects like literature, history, and philosophy also taught me that musical sensitivity does not exist in isolation; it draws its real strength from broader culture and art.
Despite my love for mathematics, music remained my true priority, leading me to choose the Conservatory for my specialized higher education.
In 2021, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Guitar from the Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, followed in 2023 by a Master’s degree in Jazz Guitar from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, graduating with highest honors (110 cum laude) in both.
During my five years at the conservatory, I had the privilege of studying under renowned masters, including Gianni Lenoci, Francesco Diodati, Claudio Filippini, Roberto Cecchetto, Umberto Petrin, Oscar Del Barba, and Pino Iodice.
Artistic training requires careful and conscious direction, but gaining as many diverse perspectives as possible is just as vital.
I actively took part in masterclasses and seminars with world-class artists such as Paul Gilbert, Freddie Bryant, and Peter Erskine, alongside Maurizio Giammarco, Gianni Lenoci, and Giovanni Falzone. These remain some of my most rewarding formative experiences.
The beauty of studying music is that there is never a true finish line. While my formal academic studies are complete, my personal research continues every single day through the exploration of new sonic and technical horizons.
After years of study, I distilled this methodology into an intensive mentorship system designed to eliminate technical plateaus and fast-track your progress. Learn more about the framework and apply for the Guitar Coaching Program.

The most rewarding aspect of this profession is the opportunity to connect and collaborate with extraordinary artists. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing and recording with prominent names across both the pop world (Madame, Il Volo, Raphael Gualazzi, Mario Biondi, Al Bano, Notte Della Taranta Orchestra, Magna Grecia Orchestra) and the jazz scene (Fabrizio Bosso, Giovanni Falzone, Gaetano Partipilo, Verdi Jazz Orchestra).
